Presentation
Geovelo is a French company specializing in cycling navigation and infrastructure planning. Its mission is to promote and facilitate everyday cycling by providing cyclists with optimized and safe routes and supporting local authorities with data-driven tools for developing bike-friendly infrastructure.
Geovelo combines a mobile app for users with advanced analytics and mapping services for cities and regions.
It complied with french CNIL GDPR conformity and geovelo user data is anonymized before being expertised and presented to the cities.
Long story short : Geovelo is a map viewing & navigation app for cyclists based on OpenStreetMap.
Geodata Team
Along its work, Geovelo set up a team of GIS experts, among which a lot of them map the bicycle facilities and parkings.

Notes
Via the Contribute button Geovelo users can report map errors.[1] Geovelo then automatically also creates a respective OpenStreetMap note via the Geovelo_Notes bot account. The same bot also takes care of syncing comments between openstreetmap.org and the Geovelo website.
