The tag factory=* is used to specify the type of factory (a facility where goods are made, or processed). This tag is added to another main feature tag such as landuse=industrial + industrial=factory.
You may use product=* or *:product=* to specify it further. Such as factory=food + food:product=*
Tagging
Add the tag factory=* to a node or area which is also tagged with a main feature tag, such as landuse=industrial and industrial=factory
